    • In this presentation, Dr. Shawna Beese shares an overview of the potential of the Cooperative Extension System (CES) to promote health and address socio-environmental health disparities. She will spotlight specific examples from her research program as she studies and engages communities in building multi-level resilience with individuals, families, and neighborhoods/small towns.

      Learning Objectives:

      1. Identify how the three components of the Cooperative Extension System (CES) work.
      2. Describe the emerging concept of the 'Health Extension.' 
      3. Describe how health promotion research in rural communities can impact Multi-level Resilience.
