  • The final session of Nurses Leading the Way: The Path to COP30 series is presented by ANHE & SONSIEL, in partnership with the Ontario Nurses for the Environment Interest Group (ONEIG). As COP30 approaches, this closing virtual event focuses on how nurses can drive change—whether they are attending COP30 in person, participating from afar, or weaving climate action into their everyday practice. Speakers explore how nurses can influence the outcomes of COP30 virtually, instill hope and direction as leaders within civil society, and advocate for bold, collaborative, and accountable action from governments. We hear directly from nurses preparing to attend COP30 and learn how they’re bringing the voice of health to the global climate stage. We also share specific, action-oriented ways for nurses everywhere to get involved through the #NursesPath2COP social media challenge.
