The third part of the series is an inspiring and action-oriented webinar spotlighting the essential role of nurses in driving climate solutions—from local communities to the global stage. Climate Action at the Frontlines: Nurses Shaping Global Policy at COP and Beyond will explore how climate action is directly relevant to nursing practice and professional organizations. Through stories of frontline leadership and advocacy, you'll hear how nurses are making an impact locally and influencing policy globally. We’ll also be sharing a sneak peek of our upcoming social media and digital action campaign—coming this fall—to help amplify nursing voices in climate advocacy and drive collective impact.
Learning Objectives:
1. Describe the relevance of climate change to nursing practice and professional responsibility, and why climate advocacy is a nursing imperative.
2. Identify examples of organizational initiatives that are making and impact both locally and globally, including those influencing policy.
3. Connect with a broader community of nurse climate advocates to share ideas, strategies, and inspiration for sustained engagement and leadership in climate action.
