  This webinar provides an overview of how the healthcare industry contributes to environmental pollution. We discuss the use of green teams and how nurses can form/participate within their healthcare facilities as a solution to promote sustainability within the health sector.

  Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe at least three contributors to healthcare pollution, including energy, waste and toxic chemicals.
  2. Identify common elements of a healthcare environmental stewardship program. 
  3. Discuss nursing roles in reducing healthcare pollution.
