    • This webinar is the first stop on ANHE 's Regional Forums virtual "Road Show." Each workshop in this series will begin with an overview of the legislative process and why it is imperative that nurses are at the table! Then our Regional Forum Organizers and other state-level advocates will help prepare us for massive nurse involvement during next legislative session, focusing on 1-2 states in each region. Join the movement!

      Learning Objectives:

      1. Describe the unique role of nurses in advancing environmental health and informing state-level policies that reduce toxic exposures and promote healthier communities.
      2. Examine current legislative priorities related to climate, environmental justice, and toxic exposures within the region, and discuss the implications for nursing practice and population health.
      3. Increase participants’ capacity to understand the policymaking process, communicate evidence-based environmental health information, and collaborate with interdisciplinary partners to support informed decision-making.
