This presentation invites participants into a space of critical reflection, relational learning, and transformative possibility. Together, we will explore how place-based nursing knowledge, guided by Mi’kmaw Teachings, can reshape the future of nursing theory and practice. De-Ann Sheppard, PHD, MScHQ, NP shares her 2026 dissertation, Honouring the Spirit of Mi’kmaw nursing knowledge: Critical auto-ethnography as transformative teacher, and Story of her doctoral journey as a L’nu nurse.
