Course summary

With the current administration reversing pro-diversity policies in the federal government through an Executive Order signed on January 20, 2025, all diversity, equity and inclusion programs, offices, and positions throughout the federal government were terminated. Entire offices of the federal government have been eliminated, funding streams- once allocated for strong public health protections and environmental justice work- have been rolled back. This dramatic shift has led to uncertainty for nurses and those promoting environmental justice and climate health. This meeting discusses how nurses can remain committed to the JEDI principles in this rapidly changing environment.
